PTS · Pay Time Shift
Account & Premium Privacy Policy

Developer: bokiap · Package: com.paytimeshift.pts
Effective 3 October 2026. Applies to version 0.2.0 and later. The 0.1.7 policy applies to earlier local-only builds.

PTS plans shifts and estimates earnings for multiple jobs. New installs start empty. You can use local scheduling without signing in.

Local jobs, costs and reports

Job names, currencies, hourly/fixed prices, pay rules, shifts, bonuses, breaks, holidays, notes, optional work-related costs and preferences are stored in private app storage on your phone. Optional costs are separate from the gross pay calculation. Analytics reports estimate earnings after work-related costs; they exclude taxes, government and payroll deductions and are not official net salary.

Your account and subscription

If you register or sign in, Firebase Authentication processes your email address, password (for email sign-in), Google profile name and authentication information. Google sign-in uses your selected Google account. The PTS backend stores your account ID, verified email status, report preferences, subscription entitlement and backup metadata. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication; the PTS application backend does not store your password.

Google Play processes subscription payments. PTS sends the purchase token and an account identifier hashed with SHA-256 to its backend and Google Play to verify your annual subscription, renewal, grace period or expiry, prevent purchases being assigned to a different account and restore access. PTS does not receive your card or bank details. Cancelling or deleting a PTS account does not cancel Google Play auto-renewal.

Cloud backup and restore

Premium cloud backup uploads the local jobs, pay information, costs, shifts, notes, holidays and settings to your Firebase account storage after you enable it on a phone. A new phone prompts you to restore existing cloud data before uploading. Backups use HTTPS and Google Cloud encrypted storage. The current and previous backup versions are retained. Client access to the databases and storage is denied; authenticated backend operations check Premium and account ownership. Restoring replaces local records only after you confirm.

Automatic and shared reports

Monthly and yearly report emails are enabled by default for Premium accounts. They are sent to your verified account email at the start of the next month or year using the latest successful cloud backup. You can turn either report off in Account settings. Firebase/Google Cloud runs the scheduled report service, and Resend processes the recipient email address and generated report attachment for email delivery. Reports can contain job names, hours, gross earnings, costs and estimated real earnings. Check your cloud backup status so reports include your latest entries.

PDF exports, printing, email and sharing initiated on the phone use the destination you select in Android. Manual backup files contain the local records and optional costs, but not your password, purchase token or Premium entitlement. Exported files and reports already delivered to your email remain under your control and the policies of the chosen destination.

Advertising and consent

Free users may see Google AdMob banner advertisements. Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform process advertising/device identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, ad interactions and diagnostic data to provide and measure ads and manage consent. Where required, consent is requested before ads load; privacy choices can be revisited in PTS settings. Premium suppresses ad requests. See Google advertising information and Google's privacy policy.

Schedule recognition, permissions and notifications

Google ML Kit recognizes selected schedule images on the phone. PTS does not upload the selected image or recognized schedule to its backend. ML Kit may send technical SDK/device diagnostics, per-installation identifiers, configuration, performance and errors to Google. See ML Kit data disclosure. Optional notifications and the home screen widget use local shifts. Android file pickers limit access to files you select. PTS does not access your contacts or bank accounts.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain until you delete them, clear app storage or uninstall. Android's automatic app backup is disabled. Account records and current/previous cloud backups remain until account deletion; deletion can be requested in PTS Account settings or through the account deletion page. The deletion process removes the Firebase Authentication account, PTS account profile, purchase association records and all retained cloud backup versions. Short-lived abuse prevention records use a hashed account/key and expire after 24 hours; infrastructure logs and email-provider delivery records follow those providers' retention policies. Google Play keeps purchase records under its own policy. You must delete exported files and delivered report emails separately.

Security and children

PTS uses authenticated backend access, server verification of purchases and conflict checks to protect cloud backups. Protect your device, password and exported files. PTS is intended for adult workers and is not directed at children.
